30 years of Búho & Maravillas.

2018 | Andalusia

This exhibition paid homage to the companies Búho Teatro and Teatro Maravillas, which got together to institutionalise a collaboration that had already become rather common.

Búho & Maravillas are well-known in Tolosa, as they have performed the majority of their shows. Their show Los Músicos de Brenes, where they blend puppets and live music, received the Children’s Jury’s award in 2008’s Titirijai (the local puppet festival).

The exhibition walked us through the company’s thirty years of artistic life, showcasing a number of puppets and stages that were employed in shows like Retablillo de Don Cristóbal, El color de los minerales, Yerma, El Principito, Parodia de un torero, Viaje al País de las sombras, Iván el Terrible, Don Giovann”, La ratita presumida, Carmen, La verdadera historia de Caperucita Roja, Los músicos de Brenes, etc.
