This exposition allowed the visitor to gain insight into the work of this company from San Sebastian created and directed by Enkarni Génua and Manolo Gómez.
The exhibit was comprised of twelve small stages and eighty puppets belonging to several of the company’s shows, which, in Enkarni’s words, “is a great joy since it constitutes an acknowledgement, besides giving us the chance to gather the bulk of the work done over forty-two years of life of our company”.
Visitors were able to examine “works related to twelve of the company’s shows”, all of them featuring “their own staging, puppets and context”. For this, they brought to our centre “all of the material, organising it almost the same way as when we set the stages where we will later act”. “A different exhibit”, Enkarni believed, “that everyone would enjoy, children and adults alike; especially those who were our audience as kids. It is an emotive opportunity to exercise their memory”.
For the company’s directors, “seeing all the material showcased in TOPIC, was a very nice gesture”. Once thing they did want and succeeded in was creating “a different exposition, where each of the stages is in itself a tale”.
