Every year, in the month of September, the new season of the Titereszena program is officially presented at TOPIC.
Titereszena includes shows, workshops, exhibitions, guided and dramatized tours, school campaign, Puppet Festival… in addition to endless events to which TOPIC contributes its particular part and distinguishes with activities aimed at making the puppet the true protagonist.
As far as shows are concerned, a varied program of companies from different geographical origins is offered with children’s and family shows. These shows are also presented in the school campaign.

Framed within the Titereszena program, TOPIC also holds workshops on all kinds of techniques aimed at a family audience. A workshop that we have been repeating for a few seasons is the one that is linked to a particular show. It is a pack, workshop plus show, one Saturday a month, a formula that works especially well.
In the exhibition section, two a year are inaugurated in the temporary exhibition space and, recently, the ambigú of the Centre has also been used as an exhibition space.
Another of the fixed sections of Titereszena is the one that refers to visits. You can do guided tours, guided tours à la carte, dramatized tours for boys and girls and themed tours, in addition the activity ‘Puppets and women’, also linked to this type of activity. All of them are carried out under the professional supervision of the TOPIC museum team.
The International Puppet Festival, Titirijai, which takes place annually, deserves a special mention. With a duration of ten days, the Festival hosts shows aimed at all types of audiences with a diversified program that has a loyal audience.
Nor can we forget events that are essential in Titereszena’s programming: International Puppet Day and International Museum Day. In addition to programs such as the one that takes place at Christmas under the label of “solidarity entry” or participation in the European Heritage Days.
