The new Titereszena 2026–2027 program has been unveiled at a press conference. The new season comprises a wide range of activities, including performances, exhibitions, a school program, guided and dramatized tours, and workshops.

October marks the kickoff with the opening of a new exhibition: “Rut Olabarri: trucada e imperfecta” (Rut Olabarri: Manipulated and Imperfect), which will run in the temporary exhibition hall from October 8 to March 7, 2027. Rut Olabarri’s artistic practice can be understood as a realm where textiles, memory, and fiction intertwine until they become indistinguishable. Also in October—and continuing into November—a workshop titled “Cuerdas de la memoria: educación artística feminista” (Strings of Memory: Feminist Art Education) will be held in collaboration with the Andoain City Council.

The performance schedule begins on December 12 with *Ogi zati bat* by the Catalan company Les Pinyes. Subsequent shows include *Malaika* by La sonrisa del lagarto (Asturias) on January 16; *Flor de greguerías* by Luna Danza Teatro (Madrid) on February 27; and *Monstruo arrosa* by Zum Zum (Catalonia) on March 13. On April 24, we present *Tretatxu* by Anita Maravillas (Basque Country), followed on May 15 by *El circo de los gerundios* by Alas Circo Teatro (Andalusia). Our lineup features tabletop shows, object theater, shadow puppetry, animation, and more.

Workshops will once again play a central role, as will the school program running from December 2026 through May 2027. This educational initiative includes puppet shows accompanied by talks with the artists themselves, workshops tailored to each group, and museum visits.
And let’s not forget Titirijai, which runs from November 21 to 29 under the slogan “Don’t Be an Automaton.”
