The exhibition ‘Retablo de Figurillas’ has just been inaugurated at the Archive of Navarra in Pamplona. The exhibition has been organized in collaboration with the Tolosa International Puppet Center-TOPIC and brings together a selection of materials from the Faro Bueno family puppet and puppet theater company that were donated in 2019 to the Royal and General Archive from Navarre. This exhibition could already be seen in Tolosa from May 14 to September 25 of this year.

Composed of a great diversity of documents, the collection includes a total of 385 puppets and scenographic material made by Juan Faro for the staging of the plays and various props used in the construction of the puppets and equipment. In order to favor the proper conservation of the puppets and the scenographic material, the General Directorate of Culture-Príncipe de Viana Institution established a temporary assignment regime to TOPIC, where it was exhibited from May 14 to September 25, 2022.

On the occasion of the exhibition in Tolosa, TOPIC, in collaboration with the Provincial Government, has edited the catalog ‘Retablo de Figurillas’ which is available at the public service points of the Royal and General Archive of Navarra.

The sample is free and open access and will remain open in the lower gallery of the Archive every day in December from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the month of December.
