Once again this year the TOPIC Museum, as well as its exhibitions, have recorded a surge in visitors this summer with numbers clearly higher than those of previous years, mainly during the months of July and August. To date, September has the same trend.
In total, the visits received were 3,877, with Gipuzkoans, with 14.83%, being our main visitors. In the state count, they are followed by Catalans (8.36%), Madrid (4.58%) and, at a greater distance, Valencians (2.08%), Murcia (1.61%), Granada (1.55%) and Zaragoza (1.46%).
Regarding Europe, the French are once again the ones who come most to our Center in summer with a percentage of 7.68%, followed by Italians (0.86%) and the Dutch (0.65%). This summer Croatians, Greeks, Hungarians, Irish, English and Swedes have made their debut as visitors.
Also surprising is the increase in Asian visitors, followed by South Americans and North Americans. We have also had a flow of tourists from Central America, South America and Africa.
This successful closing of the summer period leaves an “optimistic” horizon for next year, where expectations for growth and development are even greater.
