A few days ago, the management team of the Odradek center visited us, a center for the creation, research, training and development of puppet arts located in the French town of Toulouse.

Taking advantage of their visit, the TOPIC management organized a meeting at the Center with different Basque companies, such as Bihar, Txotxongillo taldea, Tenderete, Taun Taun, Anita Maravillas and the puppeteers Carlos López and Corrado Masacci. The following day they went to visit and meet with the management of Dantzerti, the Euskadi Higher School of Dramatic Art and Dance.

With these meetings, what was intended was to share opinions on the puppet art sector at a professional level, both in terms of training and production, as well as its dissemination and promotion. “A sharing to learn about the current situation of the puppet sector in both countries, in both environments and begin to create ties in order to have specific training within TOPIC, while enriching the Odradek school and the Higher School of Dramatic Art of Euskadi”, affirms Juanjo Herrero, one of the directors of TOPIC.
